Processing emotions is one of the most misunderstood hype words. So, let’s make it clear:
It's not just ''sitting with your emotions'' like many meditation techniques will show.
That can be waaay too overwhelming!
It's not some sort of cathartic release that promises you to get rid of the emotion altogether.
Emotions are there for a reason and one session of ‘‘releasing’’ might be enough at most to process mild annoyance.It's not talking yourself through the emotions.
Just the opposite – the further you get away from the ''story'' around your emotion and closer to the body, the easier it will be to process it.
About the teacher
I was always a sensitive person. Kids at school ridiculed me for my tears. And anxiety was a constant companion in my adolescence. Even making a phone call would send my heart racing.
My perfectionism and over-controlling showed up eventually in my 30s as chronic pain. After trying many things I finally discovered the world of somatics and nervous system regulation.
Today, I help others to see the link between emotional and physical health and how to heal from within.
I’m a certified, trauma-informed somatic yoga teacher.
I have worked therapeutically with anxiety and chronic pain since 2008.

I have very little space at home.
Most of the practices will be done seated in a chair or lying down. At one point, you will need just enough space to stand up.
Are there any counter-indications?
I will not recommend it if you’re currently experiencing acute symptoms of PTSD. You would benefit more from a 1-2-1 session.
